Engagement Type: Contracted Facilitator – eLearning Course Development & Delivery

This engagement involved serving as a contracted facilitator for the Kenya School of Government eLearning and Development Institute (eLDI) to support the facilitation and development of foundational eLearning modules.

 

The assignment focused on building the capacity of course participants to establish effective learning communities of practice and develop a strong appreciation of eLearning as a strategic approach to training and public sector capacity development. The facilitation emphasized both pedagogical foundations and practical considerations for designing and delivering eLearning courses.

 

Key areas of facilitation included foundations of learning delivery, instructional design principles, policy and governance frameworks, and ICT infrastructure requirements for eLearning implementation. The role involved preparing and delivering structured presentations, guiding participant discussions and practical exercises, supervising group work, and coordinating with other facilitators in line with the agreed training schedule.

 

The engagement supported KSG’s mandate to strengthen digital learning capabilities within government institutions and enhance the quality and consistency of eLearning course production.
